Why I Have No Children
Before bringing children into the world, I would have liked to ask them whether they were willing to be thrown into existence and thus to face all the risks that
life entails, risks from which parents are unable to provide protection.
The final question arises from an unavoidable fact: to give life also means to condemn someone to certain death. Very few people face this final destination with a
smile on their lips. It would therefore be appropriate to inform the unborn child of what awaits them.
Since all this is impossible, I chose to refrain from procreation.
