Beethoven at the Restaurant

When it comes to the great musicians, we want to know everything about them; their myth is so powerful that even aspects of their behavior that have nothing to do with their music fascinate us. Would you like to know, for example, what Beethoven liked to eat? Well, an interesting publication by the musicologist Paul Nettl tells us the following:

- his mother was a cook by profession.

- coffee was indispensable to him.

- one of his favorite dishes was macaroni with Parmesan cheese.

- he also liked fish and seafood.
